Senior Moments

Senior Hall banner

Yes I have so many memories to remember so far during my Senior year.  All the laughs and all the smiles.  I am really going to miss BETA especially since it is like a second family to me.  I will try to make as many memories as I can.  I'll miss all the clubs with all the fun activities.  I'll miss the hanging out with friends to prepare for competition or to just talk about fun stuff.  I have so many memories so far.

Generation of Nincompoops?

http://ammaryasir.files.wordpress.com/2008/02/65150_videos_still_image_9475_small.jpg
I believe that our generation is just weird and we do strange things.  That is why we are called the Y generation for "why do you do things like that".  We can sometimes be Nincompoops, but this doesn't apply to all of us.

Photographing concerts

I would like to see and photograph a Sugarland concert.  I would publish my photos for magazines and post them online.  Yes I would like to create an on-line photo gallery because it would help to exhibit my style and my photos.

A day in the life of Amanda

Amanda walks around her neighboorhood in Mission, Texas after a long day at school

Amanda plays in her pretend kitchen after finishing her assigned homework

Amanda experiments with different outdoor plants in her play station outside

Amanda feels a drop of water hit her head while rain clouds rolled in and the sun started to set

Amanda plays in the light driziling rain during the  dry, humid day

Amanada climbs a tree trying to see if anymore rain clouds were heading her way

Do you have what it takes to be a photojournalist?

It's really fun to be a photojournalist because you see the world through the a lens.  I believe a photojournalist has to be prompt and enthusiastic and should be able to tell a story.  They have to be able to tell the stories of other people and have to be willing to go the extra mile to get a story.  I would like to be a photojournalist, but I would prefer a video camera instead of a photo camera because I like to work with a video camera and I find it interesting.

Photographic Fakery

Since the existence of software like Photoshop or Paint Shop Pro photographers have found ways to fake there photographs.  With this controversial issue how can photojournalist expect to be believed in world where people can't trust what they see.  I believe that at this point in time it is going to be really hard for photojournalist to be able to uphold his credibility.

Beginning of a new School Year

Another year of school has started at BETA. Many teachers have already started the work load, while other teachers don't even have enough books to go around.
